Joseph Mersa Marley, the Jamaican-American reggae artist, died at the age of 31.
According to several news services, the musician was discovered unresponsive in a vehicle in the United States on Tuesday.
The artist, who went by the stage name Jo Mersa, reportedly had asthma his entire life and died as a result of an asthma attack, according to Florida radio station WZPP.
The singers know for songs such as "Made It" featuring Kabaka Pyramid, "Rock and Swing" and "Brickell" featuring Yohan Marley.
He is the grandson of Bob Marley, the legendary reggae musician, and the son of Stephen Marley.
