It's October Nights

October London has just released his sophomore album "October Nights", continuing to cement his place as a modern-day voice for classic R&B soul.

This 16-track album was released under Death Row Records in collaboration with gamma and features notable contributions from artists like Snoop Dogg, Ledisi, Tyrese, and jazz legend Boney James. The album includes standout tracks like "She Keeps Calling" and "A Beautiful Woman," blending his retro soul sound with modern elements of R&B.

Production-wise, "October Nights" brings together a powerhouse team, including long-time collaborator Priest "Soopafly" Brooks, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Brandon "B.A.M." Hodge, David Foster, and even jazz musician Boney James. October London himself had a major hand in producing and mixing many of the tracks.

With this project, October stays true to his roots in soul but expands his sound, incorporating more contemporary styles. Tracks like "Slander My Name" and "Don’t Waste Your Time" evoke vintage soul, while songs like "The Best Problem" introduce trap-inspired beats. His collaboration with Tyrese on "Bedroom Bully" adds another sensual, intimate vibe to the mix, showcasing the romantic and emotional depth that has become his signature.

This album highlights October London's evolution, taking him beyond just being a Marvin Gaye sound-alike into an artist with his own expansive style.
