The latest single, "Paradise," from the upcoming compilation Future Sound of Reggae Vol. 3 (FSOR), was released recently. Produced by Toronto via Kingston duo Gold Up, "Paradise" features young dancehall starlet AnnaleaX (pronounced Anna-Leeah). The former beauty queen and multi-talented artist has been making waves in the Kingston music scene with live performances and film appearances.
Born Kadejah Anderson, a native of St. Andrew, she is a recent graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and is active in both her modelling and recording career. No stranger to the studio, AnnaleaX has already achieved an impressive resume of collaborations for several unreleased projects. Having recorded with the world-famous Grammy award-winning producers Vinny Venditto (Eminem, Pitbull, Nicky Minaj, and Jay-Z), industry giant Scott Storch (Beyoncé, Fifty Cent, Maria Carey, Sean Paul, Whitney Houston) and Poo Bear (Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Usher).
The song was mixed by Grammy award-winning engineer Dre Day (Koffee) and released by Kingston-based Brand New Machine in partnership with leading independent distributor/label, New York-based DubShot Records, which have compiled a 3rd volume to their alternative reggae compilation Future Sound of Reggae Vol. 3 (FSOR).
